​I like writing dystopian stories. I’ve never found them difficult to write. Maybe that’s because our world isn’t that far off from being dystopian. It’s easy to look back and say that George Orwell was right. The man hit the nail on the head.

So, what’s next? Could be anything, really. Mind control via psychological manipulation or inaudible microwave frequencies. Extraterrestrial revelations? A satellite spy network with facial recognition? I have some ideas. I think augmented reality is the future. I touch on this topic in white wings. Contact lenses that augment reality could be here any day. What will they give the wearer access to? More importantly, what would they give the creator access to? Time will tell.
